El Salvador Elections 2015

What choose Salvadorans

The call for elections is to choose the following officials:

  • 262 mayors and municipal councils, of the 262 municipalities in El Salvador.
    84 members of the Legislative Assembly, which vary in each Department. The Department that more members will choose will be San Salvador, with 24.
    20 members of the Parliament Central American representing El Salvador to this entity.

Political parties in contention

Electoral Roll

According to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, 4,911,672 Salvadorans to vote in these elections, of which the 53.11% are women and the 46.89% are women. There will be 10,621 together recipients of votes, distributed at 1,595 polling place throughout the country.

Cost of the 2015 elections
