The national flag of El Salvador is one of the symbols used in our country, used in any patriotic and official event to be performed to save respect to the homeland. Its most frequent use is in the month of September when the celebrations of independence are made.
The flag of El Salvador is a parallelogram that is composed of three colors, blue representing the sky and the white representing the peace that must prevail in the country. The coat of arms of El Salvador is located in the middle part and sometimes has the legend “Dios Unión Libertad”.
Abroad, many Salvadoran brothers have at home a flag to remember their origin.
