The Zona Rosa, which emerged in the 1980s as a recreation center for the middle and upper classes in San Salvador, was gradually becoming the main tourist corridor in San Salvador. With two hotels, the Princess and the President Sheraton; a theatre and concert hall, museums, art and of anthropology; and the International Centre for fairs and conventions, cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs end up composing an urban complex very attractive for visitors.
International Centre for fairs and conventions (former international fair) is located on Avenida Revolucion. It is the fairground largest throughout Central America, where constantly there are exhibitions of various industries. Also most of international artists in its amphitheatre concerts are performed for eight thousand people.
