Pupusas

The pupusas with a traditional meal throughout El Salvador, anywhere in the country can find a place that sells pupusas (pupusería), any day of the week.

The Pupusas

The pupusas are originally made with corn dough and stuffed with pork rinds and cheese, cooked on a griddle and served with seasoned vinegar and ketchup.

Today there are a variety of pupusas and not only corn but also of rice are known as Olocuilta by origin.
