The Chorros de la Calera undoubtedly represents a landscape of true natural beauty that exists in El Salvador. The water that emanates this place comes directly rocks as fresh water jets are some impressive waterfalls. From there its name Los Chorros de la Calera.
To reach this impressive place, it is necessary to walk two kilometers, is about 45 minutes from the town of Juayúa. If you visit this place for the first time, you will be amazed at the diversity of flora, which more resembles a jungle, as vegetation is primary.
Water falls from the spring as “Jets” that slither among the rocks, and is quite cold but after the walk, a “dip” is very restful. You can also practise abseiling.
Following the path you can reach two swimming pools in which runs the water falling from the rocks. The water knee-deep, which even even children can enjoy this wonderful place.
