Las Tunas Beach

The Las Tunas beach is located in the Department of La Unión, some 180 kilometers away from San Salvador. The main characteristic of this beach is without a doubt is its black color sand and rock formations that are on the banks, which are small pools of water where tourists can bathe safely to the shore.

Far also can seen as waves hit the rock formations, which gives it a natural attraction to the landscape and where it is also possible to relax in the rustic cabins with roofs of palm leaves.

It has a small Pier in which are located some boats where visitors can do a small journey. There are also hotels with pools of salt water and small businesses where you can taste delicious seafood dishes.

To get to beach Las Tunas can handle in car on the road coast up to El Delirio, then you must turn to the right until you reach a detour that shows the route to the beaches. By bus, from San Salvador, at the East terminal take route 301 to San Miguel, and once there the route 385 to El Tamarindo Beach, but you must get off at the Las Tunas beach.
